Teen Tech Safety
It is estimated that 8 to 18 year olds spend an average of 7 ½ hours each day using a cell phone, computer, television or other electronic device.
This time spent playing video games, listening to music, IMing, visiting Social Networking sites, and texting exposes our youth to influences and dangers they are often ill-equipped to effectively handle. This presentation prepares adults with an understanding of the risks youth face when using technology, as well as how to effectively set rules, enforce consequences and communicate messages of ethical and safe behavior.
