Training for Education Professionals - Philadelphia

As a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certified Approved Trainer for Student Assistance Programs, Caron is dedicated to training school personnel, agency employees and community members with the most current standards and competencies as released by the PA Interagency Committee. By maintaining and promoting these principles, preparation is given to address local needs and collaborate with resources that will support the child and his or her family to achieve success.

Student Assistance Program training and other faculty and liaison services are provided by Caron throughout the year. In addition, Caron will provide individually designed programs to meet school needs.

Current SAP Trainings - Caron Philadelphia:

SAP (Student Assistance Program) and ESAP (Elementary Student Assistance Program) trainings are certification trainings that assist school personnel in identifying students who are experiencing barriers to learning due to drug and alcohol, mental health or behavioral concerns. The Pennsylvania Commonwealth model is a nationally-recognized program that is based upon referral, team planning, intervention, recommendations and follow-up. Participants will gain knowledge and skills necessary to work on a SAP or ESAP team.
